My (Almost) Screen-free Month -- Writing Fever

Last week, I posted about how reading was taking over from my writing. This week, however, it's been the opposite.

I've been writing in my lovely notebooks almost every available minute. I've got three now -- one for Super sporty, one for miscellaneous writings, and (admittedly) one for planning what I'm going to do when I get my computer back (don't worry, I haven't used this one much!).

Unfortunately, like last week, I've been writing more in my notebook of miscellany than my Super Sporty one. That's not to say it's not been useful -- I've learned a lot about character creation, especially. I've been experimenting with using the Myers-Briggs personality types to get to know characters better, and so far it seems to be working (I'll post about it when I get my unlimited screen time back!). However, that doesn't hide the fact that my Super Sporty notebook is depressingly bare.

Anyway, here's hoping next week is more useful to Super Sporty than it is to miscellany.

PS. I just realized that I completely forgot to acknowledge Independence Day last week. It was brain-dead stupid of me, and I sincerely apologize. Anyway ... HAPPY LATE 4TH OF JULY!

AND IN OTHER NEWS ...

I've recently made a self-serve author interview! If you are a children's author (or perhaps you know a children's author, in which case pass this message on!), Click This Link to go to the Google form. Answer all the required questions, and some extra ones if you like (the more the better), and click Submit! I will then post your interview on this blog, and also tweet about it on Twitter. I will only post a maximum of one interview per week, and it's first come first served, so get cracking!

Also, I don't know if you noticed, but I have a rather fetching new favicon for my blog now. Whoopee!
